    Boston Consulting Group

    2017 – Present · New York, NY

Growth strategy and loyalty redesign for Fortune 500 retail, hospitality, and airline companies, on programs representing 50 to 70% of company revenue. $500M+ in identified impact.

    Principal

    2017 – Present

Started as an Associate in 2017; promoted through Consultant and Project Leader

Leads high-performance teams on growth strategy and loyalty redesigns, and does the hands-on work himself, from customer insights and transaction-level analytics to business cases, financial models, executive alignment, and launch KPIs. Also leads GenAI enablement for BCG’s New York office.

    • Leads teams of 4 to 6 consultants and analysts for VP and C-suite clients, keeping 20 to 40 cross-functional stakeholders aligned; coached team members into repeat staffing and, in several cases, promotion
    • Built the economic model for a $3B loyalty program redesign on 1.5B+ rows of transaction data
    • Led pricing and competitor analytics that prioritized 30 value plays, then coached senior client leaders through negotiations that cut run-rate costs by $3M
    • Built the company-wide financial model a $5B business used to set targets and track progress
    • Delivered growth strategies across retail, beauty, travel, hospitality, and airlines
    • Built an interactive calculator in two days with AI coding tools, comparing member return across six airline loyalty programs; shared directly with the airline’s CCO
    • Ran a three-hour Replit hackathon where 50 colleagues built working apps, and trained senior partners on AI workflows
    • Coached an associate through building a branded, clickable version of a loyalty redesign with AI coding tools; the client shared it with the company’s Chief Customer Officer in week 5 of 14
    • Turned business goals into engineering-ready requirements on a large data transformation and framed the technical trade-offs so executives could decide quickly

    Founder · Group trip planner

    WanderLuxe

A group trip planner for the person who always ends up organizing. Every booking lands on one shared timeline, and the AI assistant turns a pasted confirmation into an itinerary item. Kevin founded the LLC, filed the trademark, and wrote the product spec.

    Why he built it
He was planning a month-long honeymoon across multiple countries and needed one place to track every hotel reservation, wine tasting, and dinner.
    Key monetization decision
Planning is free in full, including unlimited AI chat. The one paid feature is Print Studio, a keepsake edition of the trip, because metering the assistant would have taxed the behavior the product is built around. In Print Studio the model art-directs and the database supplies every fact, so a bad generation can hurt the styling but never the itinerary.

CPF Dance home page with photos of a dancer

    Co-founder · Private coaching platform

    CPF Dance

An invite-only app for one coach and her dancers. She leaves a note after each lesson, typed or by voice. Dancers read it on their phones, journal against it, and request lessons.

    Why he built it
His wife is a former Rockette. He saw the problem firsthand and built it for her and her dancers.
    Key design choice
Narrowed it from a multi-instructor platform to a private one for a single coach. No streaks or badges, since the dancers are already motivated. Success is dancers logging in between lessons because a new note is waiting.

    3D-printed drone

A quadcopter on a frame he designed in SolidWorks and 3D printed, with a DJI Naza flight controller, FatShark FPV, and GPS. It started in college as a way to learn CAD and turned into a decade of frame redesigns and component upgrades.

    How he works

    Demo,
    not memo.

Kevin aligns a room by showing a working version instead of describing one.

On one loyalty redesign, his team swapped a 50- to 70-page deck for a clickable version of the program. The client shared it with the company’s Chief Customer Officer in week 5 of 14.

Every demo he builds starts from a one-page spec. Here’s the one for WanderLuxe

    Economics first

He models revenue lift, redemption liability, and unit economics before recommending action, using Excel models, Tableau dashboards and, more recently, analytics tools he builds himself.

    Player-coach

He decides case by case whether to let the team run on its own, work in the model alongside them, or build the prototype himself while they focus elsewhere. He gets as much out of the hands-on work as out of mentoring.
